Vexiva Tech — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vexiva Tech’s website, scheduling, quotes, and services. By booking, approving a quote, or using our site, you agree to these Terms.
1) Who We Are
Vexiva Tech provides plug‑and‑play smart home and small office technology services in Florida, including Wi‑Fi setup, smart device configuration, TV/home theater setup, light handyman tasks, and troubleshooting.
- Scope: Low‑voltage, plug‑in or battery‑powered devices only.
- We do not perform AC electrical work, in‑wall wiring, or construction. When needed, we may coordinate with licensed partners.
2) Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
- Quotes: Estimates may be provided as flat price or itemized. Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid for 14 days.
- Diagnosis Fee: An optional on‑site or remote diagnostic may be offered. If you proceed with service within 14 days, a stated diagnostic fee may be credited toward the job (when noted on your quote).
- Deposits: Standard policy is 50% upfront on approval and 50% upon completion, unless stated otherwise on the quote or invoice.
- Taxes/Materials: Sales tax, parts, and consumables (adapters, mounts, cables, etc.) are billed as shown on the quote/invoice.
- Changes: If site conditions differ or you add scope, we will update the estimate for approval before proceeding.
3) Scheduling, Cancellations, and No‑Shows
- Scheduling: We aim to provide fast scheduling and on‑time arrival windows.
- Cancellations: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance with no fee.
- No‑Show / Late Cancellation: If we arrive and cannot access the site, or you cancel within 24 hours, a standard missed appointment fee (e.g., $49) may apply.
4) Access and Site Readiness
- You agree to provide safe access to the property, power outlets, internet service, and any required login credentials.
- You are responsible for having active internet service and owner permissions for devices and accounts. If prerequisites are missing, we may reschedule and charge for the visit time incurred.
5) Credentials and Data Security
- We set up devices using temporary or guest accounts wherever possible.
- We do not permanently store your personal passwords. Any temporary credentials created during service should be changed by you after completion.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your own accounts, passwords, and administrator access.
6) Limited Warranty and Service Guarantee
- Labor Warranty: We provide a 90‑day limited labor warranty on eligible plug‑and‑play installation and configuration performed by Vexiva Tech.
- Exclusions: Manufacturer/device defects, ISP outages, power issues, user changes, physical damage, environmental factors, and third‑party app/platform changes are not covered.
- Remedies: Our obligation is limited to reasonable re‑work of our labor within warranty. Any replacement hardware, subscriptions, or third‑party fees are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
7) Third‑Party Products and Services
- We may recommend or install third‑party devices, software, or services (e.g., camera apps, cloud subscriptions).
- Those products are governed by their respective licenses, warranties, and privacy policies. Vexiva Tech is not responsible for uptime, updates, price changes, or policy changes by third parties.
8) Compliance and Licensed Partners
- Vexiva Tech operates within Florida’s legal handyman/low‑voltage boundaries and under the $2,500 per‑project cap as applicable.
- Work requiring permits, in‑wall wiring, AC electrical, or licensed trades will be referred to or coordinated with licensed professionals, with your consent.
9) Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and timely approvals.
- Maintain your own accounts, subscriptions, and internet service.
- Back up important settings/data as needed.
- Use devices and services in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and laws.
10) Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Vexiva Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of business, or lost profits arising from your use of devices or services.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid to Vexiva Tech for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11) “As‑Is” for Recommendations
Advice, network tuning, and device recommendations are provided in good faith based on available information. Actual performance depends on your environment, ISP, device quality, and third‑party platforms, which are outside our control.
12) Photos, Reviews, and Marketing
With your permission, we may capture before/after photos of non‑sensitive areas for documentation and marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Reviews you submit may be displayed on our site or profiles.
13) Privacy
Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and protect your information.
14) Intellectual Property (Website)
All content on our website—including logos, text, graphics, and images—is owned by or licensed to Vexiva Tech and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute without written permission.
15) Appointment Safety
We reserve the right to decline or stop work if conditions are unsafe or unsanitary, or if the requested work falls outside our legal scope.
16) Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. You agree to attempt good‑faith resolution first. If unresolved, disputes shall be brought in state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
17) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions are posted. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
